Schoolbags 4 Missions is a not for profit Christian Ministry based in the Hills District area of Sydney, Australia. It is operated by a small group of Christians who have a common desire to have the love and hope that is in Christ Jesus reach disadvantaged children in Third World countries.

Through generous community donations of bags, bibles and stationery, Schoolbags 4 Missions provides additional resources to children who are receiving a basic education from child sponsorship or orphanage care.

Schoolbags 4 Missions cannot accept cash donations, however, donations of the following items are greatly appreciated:

• Used or unused small to medium size school bags/ conference satchels/ backpacks in good condition
• Bibles (adult and childrens)
• Stationery items (notepads, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, colouring pencils)
• Cards/ notelets on which a message of encouragement can be written to the child

The school bags are carried overseas and distributed by Mission Teams from local schools and churches. Often children receiving a basic education have no educational materials at home and no way of carrying them to and from school in a dry, safe manner.
